Property description & features

"This is a lovely light and airy flat, warm in winter and full of sunshine. It is in a great location but it is also really quiet. I loved being so close to Horfield Common and Leisure centre/gym and always enjoyed walking down the Gloucester Road, although there is a frequent bus service from the stops by the entrance to the development. There are three good pubs in the immediate area and lots of popular bars and cafes close by."

Bartholomews Square is a modern development largely completed in 2004, situated just off Gloucester Road, opposite Horfield Leisure Centre. Residents benefit from its proximity to many highly regarded independent shops, cafés and pubs. The Inn on the Green, The Drapers Arms micropub and the Bath Ales Pub, The Wellington, offer locals a good atmosphere and choice of food and drink. Local butchers MJ Dalton is nearby, famed for its traditional and exotic meats. For sports fans both The Memorial Stadium and The County Cricket Ground are within walking distance. The area benefits hugely from its proximity to major areas of employment, such as Southmead Hospital, Airbus and Rolls-Royce. Bartholomews Square is a highly convenient residence for anyone who needs regular access to these places, as well as to Bristol City Centre, a short journey down the A38. Despite holding its convenient position it is still very quiet in the flat, even with the balcony doors open.

A bright and well-presented two bedroom home in a modern development, located near Gloucester Road. Entrance is into a large hallway, with multiple storage cupboards and three piece family bathroom suite on the initial right. Adjacent to the bathroom, is the large single bedroom, with plenty of room for storage options. Moving through the floorplan, you find the focal point of the home, the spacious kitchen/dining/living area, with Juliet balcony. The primary bedroom, with space for a king size bed and ensuite bathroom complete the accommodation. The property also offers one allocated parking space, numbered 128. Please note that the property is sold with no onward chain, but also currently let until 25th November 2024. Vacant possession will then be available following this date.

Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on December 23, 2021

Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:

    Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
    Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
    Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s

The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2

Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on December 23, 2021

Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services

Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on April 16, 2024 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
